New Scholarship Opportunity

Mary Cone Barrie Scholarship, sponsored by Destiny Solutions Destiny Solutions created the Mary Cone Barrie Scholarship to applaud the efforts of two exceptional lifelong learners. The annual scholarship is available to any currently enrolled non-traditional learner residing in Canada or the United States who has changed their life and the lives of others through lifelong learning. FAFSA Fridays!

February is Financial Aid Awareness Month.

In recognition of this, the financial aid office will be hosting a free FAFSA workshop.

The event is called FAFSA Fridays. Every Friday in February (3th, 10th, 17th, 24th) from 8 AM – 2 PM we will have financial aid officers available in the ARC computer lab to assist students in completing their FAFSA for 2012-2013.

We will also have sessions available at Greenville Tech’s branch campuses from 8AM – 12PM on the following Fridays:
• Brashier Campus, February, 10th
• Northwest Campus, February 17th
• Greer Campus, February 24th

Students should bring their 2011 taxes if they filed, as well as their parent’s 2011 taxes. This event will help you to get a jumpstart on completing the FAFSA for the upcoming year! Sessions are done BY APPOINTMENT ONLY so please contact our office at FAFSAFridays@gvltec.edu to schedule an appointment!

Greenville Tech Foundation Scholarship Application

Scholarship Applications are now avaliable on the Greenville Tech Forms website:

the first link under Financial Aid on this Forms page will take you to the Scholarship Application. Please note that these applications must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by May 1st in order to be reviewed for the 2012-2013 academic year. The Greenville Tech Foundation will make scholarship decisions during the Summer and will notify award winners via mail.
